My Teacher Tote Linky

I'd like to call this link-up, Teacher Tote Tuesday!  I'm hooking up with Jen from Teacher by the Beach who wants to see your teacher tote.  

We all know that choosing the PERFECT teacher bag is a BIG deal.  Over the years I've tried everything from handmade bags to over priced totes that were not worth the money.

School started for me yesterday and I'm currently going with a much smaller bag, I got from a training session I attended.  I've found that the smaller the bag the less stuff I put in it.  Maybe smaller is better??  

                                

Am I the only teacher guilty of carrying home a bag full of things to work on and not even taking it inside the house?!?  Some days are just like that, right?

Wordless Wednesday-July 23

It's time for Wordless Wednesday with Miss DeCarbo at Sugar and Spice.

I just got back from a week in Vegas.  It was my last little vacay before we head back to school on Monday.  Yep...July 28th!!! 
One of my favorite things is going to water parks and the desert weather called for just that!  We researched and found a brand new water park about 15 minutes from the Strip, Cowabunga Bay.  

It was soooo much fun and was a perfect choice for the 109 degree weather.  Oh, except the fact that someone stole my shoes!!!!  Yeah, it was impossible to walk on the pavement with no shoes.  I had to give in and buy an over priced, very cheaply made pair of flip flops, in the gift shop.  Isn't it gross to steal someone else's shoes?

A Summer Writing FREEBIE

This one is for those of you teaching summer school or even home school.  I also plan on using this when we head back to school, that's July 28th for me....ugghhh.  I've created two simple writing pages.  One with an area to illustrate and then write and the second page is just a lined writing page.  The best part is the word bank that I've included.  This will give the kiddos ideas for writing and will give you a break from spelling all the words for them.  I'm sure they get tired of us saying, "Just sound it out!"  Click on the pic to grab it.  Be sure to leave feedback if you download.

Wordless Wednesday-July 16

You gotta love Wordless Wednesday with Miss DeCarbo from Sugar and Spice.

I finally strapped these babies on this week and headed back to the gym.  I really get off schedule in the summer.  It's been over two weeks.....OK maybe three weeks, since I've worked out!!!! YIKES
I feel the best when I workout three or four days a week.  I like strength training and weight training, but my eating habits are BAD!

I got my new Erin Condren Teacher Planner in the mail today.  Yayyyy, right?  Umm, NO.  I flipped through it only to discover that several of the pages were upside down!!  Yikes.  I tried to call with no success, so I sent an e-mail.  We shall see what happens.  I'll keep you posted.  Suggestions?

I updated my Christmas Writing Activities and made a new cover.  It makes perfect sense to work on Christmas products in July, right?!?

Have you heard of Younique?  I've heard people talking about this stuff everywhere I go.  Their Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes is supposed to be the BOMB!  So, I'm gonna give it a whirl.
